The month of October was a busy and fun month!
Let's start with a wedding and end with Halloween shall we?
Brad and Kelly were married in September and then had an Open House the first weekend in October in Springville, Utah.
Daddy drove up from St. George and Kelly & Dallin drove down from SLC.
And David flew in from Virginia!
LOVE this picture of father and son.
Grandpa and Neal.
Before we all went our separate ways we had breakfast the next morning at a random greasy spoon (David's words not mine) place in downtown Salt Lake. It actually turned out to be a pretty good place!
I guess I was trying to be the center of attention and it didn't work. lol!
While I was down for the Open House I stayed at Kelly & Dallin's and had a great time there too! Here we are squished on their loveseat watching the morning session of Conference.
But then look!!! I was able to get a ticket for the afternoon session! The conference center holds over 21,000 people and I got a seat on the 11th row! I got the extra ticket via the Cahoons who got it from Mark's brother Orlan who is married to President Monson's niece! That's what you call a connection!
Lee lee and I waiting outside.
Inside!
And there is the prophet President Monson (second from the rt.). See that pretty pulpit? It was made out of an old oak tree that was in the yard of President Hinckley's home as a young boy. He loved that old oak tree and when this conference center was being built he had the pulpit made.
The view!
On our drive home (I caught a ride with the Cahoon's) Lee Lee saw an opportunity for a good picture so we stopped so she could click her camera. She's a good photographer and she totally looks legit too!
I mean really. Isn't this a great shot or what?
In the month of October hunting season begins and since the weather was mild I decided to join Chris this year.
Kind of a neat shot. See Old Chief there in the background?
Chris actually got 3 deer this season which included a pretty big buck!
Apple Juicing time again! Scott made a new apple crusher this year and it worked great!
The weather was a bit cooler this year so the fire felt great when you got a little chilled.
It's just the coolest thing when that pure apple juice starts pouring.
Here is my man turning that apple press.
Once the bucket is full of juice it's then poured into pitchers and then poured into containers.
The apples squished of all their juice. This year the apple combination was Gala, McIntosh and Honey Crisp.
This is what we scored this year! It lasts us all year long and we love it!
The month of October also brings Chris' birthday. Lee Lee made this cake for Chris this year. I was busy making Thanksgiving dinner.
Speaking of Thanksgiving dinner. This is what Lee Lee and Mark did after they ate.
And this is what they did 3 years ago after I made Thanksgiving dinner. I'm going to take that as a compliment.
We haven't had a twin pic taken in awhile. We planned our outfits. lol!
Sean ALWAYS has the best Halloween costumes! Here he is being Woody from Toy Story. Not sure if he had a snake in his boot or not!
Oops! Not sure what happened here but this picture should have been up with the Apple Juicing ones. It's hard work squishing apples.
And that was our October!

Ok. Lots of comments coming because you have way too many fun pictures.
1) I totally photo bombed you!
2) Sometimes it's who you know, but in this case it was who you are related to. My first time to General Conference too.
3) I love the picture of Old Chief between the snow fence wood. Now just frame that in barn wood. Sweet!
4) wish we would have put cardboard down when we did our deer a few years ago.
5) I'm envious of your apple juicing fun! I'm envious of all your trips to BC actually.
6) really? You took a picture of us asleep again? And posted the one from 3 Yeats ago? Umm......but then wait. We have the same top on so maybe this is you. Looks like you to me.
Really fun pictures Lou Lou. So many I have never seen before.
Great pictures LouLou! I too love the chief pic and all the other fun shots! Looks like lots of fun for sure!
