The Month Of November

November seems to be a slower month for us but it always begins with Seth's birthday! Birthday dinner in this house is always chosen by the birthday guy or gal. They can choose a favorite homemade meal or choose a favorite restaurant and without fail Seth chooses Montana's and always orders ribs.

The Cahoon's joined us this year and Seth decided that he was willing to have the staff sing Happy Birthday to him in order to get the free dessert. Thanks for the picture Neal!

A random day in November Neal showed up at the house looking for Seth and a little fun, so the two of them went to Princess Auto and bought Airsoft guns and had fun in the backyard.

Chris and I drove down to Rexburg to have American Thanksgiving with Kelly and Dallin and this bowl of almond M&M's was there waiting for us! Thanks Dallin!

Kelly did a great job with the meal! The menu was turkey, Nanny's potatoes, stuffing, roasted sweet potatoes, creamed cucumbers, corn, Hawaiian sweet bread and mini bottles of Martinelli's! Oh, and for we had banana cream pie for dessert!

Side note: Dallin and Kelly bought this kitchen table at DI and Dallin spent many hours restoring. He changed the whole look of it and he did a great job.  Kelly is lucky to have such a handy dandy guy!

After our big meal Dallin took off to Idaho Falls for a Black Friday deal at Best Buy and while he was standing in line with the crazies Chris, Kelly and I went for a walk up the street to the temple.

Chris is a handy dandy guy too so we brought our belt sander with us and Chris worked on Christmas gifts.  "We" made spreaders this year for friends and family. Wonder what next years gift will be??

Have I ever even had almond M&Ms before? I think this is an M&M Mark could really love.
Fun post and that meal looked delish. Creamed cucumbers? Never heard of those either.
