So this trip Lee lee, her youngest son Neal and our mutual friend Dixie joined us for a day of skiing. It was alot of fun!
This is in the front lobby of the Hotel. A little interesting and a little random. But cute non the less. |
This is the building right next door to the Hotel. I am sure there is a story behind the horse and wagon that is on the roof. Again. Random. But then again very quaint. |
Breakfast time. |
More breakfast time. |
Eyes closed. |
Eyes open. |
Lee Lee, Dixie and Neal getting ready to rent thier gear. Don't they look serious? |
I saw this as I was skiing and just had to take a picture of it. That is quite a "hat" on top of that tiny shed. There was just so much snow around! |
That Neal! He had a lot of fun trying to smash our faces together but we managed a non smashing picture. Well, wait a minute. Maybe this is a "smashing " picture. Lol! |
Just relaxing mid afternoon while Chris and Neal are skiing the black diamonds! |
I am pretty sure we would stay here again. See you again Kalispell Grand Hotel! |

Lucy you--getting to visit Montana. Great pictures.
I love Montana!
Lou Lou, my car didn't even know it had 700 lbs of tile. After pulling a trailer from CA for 2 days, this was a piece of cake.
So, what were Dixie, Neal and I looking at during the breakfast shot?
I want to go back and shop, and eat, and have some more fun.
Fun post with random photos. Might I add that maybe the shed is an outhouse?
Love the post Lou Lou!!
Oh you got all the things that say Montana, antlers, buggies, snow and oh boy was it nice in Kalispell!! I love it there!!
I say we do it again soon!! Summer is great in Montana too!! :)
Thanks for a great time and love the random photos, so much FUN!!!
Looks like you all had a "grand" time! The hotel you found seems quite interesting. You are tempting me to take my skiis and boots out of retirement with all the wonderful ski photos. Would you like to try Mt. Washington?
I love the picture of you and Uncle Chris with matching turtle necks! I missed out on this trip for sure. Those antique shops look great!
I am so glad you are blogging again and we get to share your adventures... it is as close to being with you as we can get for now. So wonderful to see all these times shared with family and Dixie - who might as well now be 'family' given her high profile status!!!
